Andes mosquitoes (dengue fever)
You must have read in the papers, dengue fever contraction is all time high in Singapore. Our neighbours, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand are not spared either. Recently, a friend who contracted dengue fever was hospitalised at my work place for 5 days. Do your part.get rid of stagnant water.
Can you recognise the Andes mosquitoes? (dengue fever)
- It has black and white stripes on its legs and body.
- It bites during the day.
- It breeds in clean stagnant water.
This is my island in the sun
This is probably the last fish farm in Singapore that's located next to a river in area of Khatib Bongsu. You squat to conduct "big business" and human is aerially discharged into the river. That's why the fisher put up a bigger fight I'm told!
