Eng Teck tells me upcoming event is beginning to look more promising. No bull or cockfights; something less gory and more soothing to the eyes. These 4 girls with long legs are going to electrify you with their instruments.
P/S: Those with weak hearts and soft legs will be comforted to know these ladies are CPR trained!

On our way out for lunch, I lamented over lack of shoe space in the house. My razor sharp junior remarked: "Mum, if you are a millipede, there will still be a few pairs of shoes left for spares!"
I don't remember him getting fed at lunchtime.
Who's the weaker sex?
Men in general earn more than women, run faster. When it comes to health, they fall behind the opposite sex. Stroke, cancer, diabetes and heart disease kill men at a higher rate than they do women. Yet men are half as likely to see a doctor regularly.
Age 35-50. Pay attention to diabetes, hyper tension and heart disease. If you have a family history of colon cancer, get a colonoscopy. And if you have a family history of prostate cancer, you may want to begin prostate screening.

Agung the scholar
My junior was excited about having Agung, his classmate, to attend National Day celebration at the Padang. We had a meal together then after. Agung is Indonesian from Surabaya on a MOE scholarship. He hardly spoke English upon arrival. English Literature is now his favourite subject 3 years on. He is in top 5% percentile and is earmarked to be Head Prefect next year. We should bring in more Agungs to stretch and compete againsto ur kids. Otherwise, latter are like ornamental fighting fishes, pretty to look at only.
