Butt Floss

Recently my son and I were window-shopping. We pass the ladies department and there were some gorgeous things. I pointed out a pair of thongs to my junior and ask him if it is a good idea to get it for my wife's birthday. He replied dryly: 'why would mum wants a pair of butt floss'.

Annual Dinner Event 11November, 2005(fri) Update

Bullfight.

Eng Tech, Program Chairman, was last seen heading towards Bintan Island to scout for his bull beetle. Understandably, the bullfight or cockfight, originally proposed, was turn down. Too expensive to clean up the bullshit and cannot risk bird flu from the cock. So we may have to lock horns and go beetle fighting instead. book this date and stay in tune, oki!

3R..reduce, reuse and recycle. Pls do your part. Extracted from TODAY, 7 Jul05

THE NEA revealed that it has completed a study on the number of plastic bags that are given out here every year. Total of 2.5 billion. The estimate was based on a survey conducted with major supermarkets and the Dept of Stats.

The no breaks down to 1.7 bags/person/day. Australia(1.0),USA(0.9), Ireland (0.8),Hong Kong(3.7) and Taiwan(2.4). The rate for Taiwan was calculated before a 2003 ban on plastic bags. NEA is working with retailers to train their cashiers not to issue plastic bags liberally. Please do your part by practising the 3Rs.
